MIKO+: the contemporary Polish jewellery that works like a physio at your desk

17 January 2018

With its sleek, minimalist lines and rose-tinted sheen, MIKO+ is a contemporary jewellery range designed for the 21st century. But the seven-piece range, created by Martyna Świerczyńska and Ewa Dulcet, is designed to do more than just look good.

The bracelets and rings treat and prevent wrist problems and injuries which plague tired office workers, including carpal tunnel syndrome.

The gilded pink brass pieces were designed with the aid of a qualified physiotherapist and tested at Poznan Orthopedic Hospital. The pair hope that the range could help patients who balk from wearing unwieldy medical braces.

The range has already been recognised at the global Grad Show, snatching the title of Progress Prize Winner in the Empower category.
