Asya Marakulina (b. 1988, Perm) is Saint Petersburg-based artist who uses different media from animation to embroidery in her practice. A graduate of Saint Petersburg State University and the Pro Arte Institute, Marakulina creates temporal spaces and explores our place in different environments, be it nature or the city, their mutual influence, and poetic and aesthetic connections between different phenomena.
