Tom Masters

Tom Masters is a Berlin-based travel writer working closely with Russia, the former Soviet Union and the extended remnants of the communist world. Having started his career as a print journalist at The St Petersburg Times in Russia, he has subsequently worked in radio for the BBC World Service and as a documentary producer for the BBC, Discovery Channel and History Channel as well as writing dozens of books about some of the world’s least visited places for Lonely Planet.
