Originally hailing from Perm, Elena Vlasova is a visual artist based in Moscow. A student at HSE Art & Design School, she explores the everyday urban spaces. Vlasova is most interested in the parts of the city that are not formatted by the authorities and lives its ghostly life on its own, reproducing alternative images of itself. These are the images that the artist brings out from the shadows.
