Until the end of April, Swiss photography publication Yet Magazine is running an online print sale to raise money for the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 Response Fund. Its fundraising campaign, Yet Together, features an array of international artists who have contributed to the magazine over the years, giving culture-lovers the chance to support independent artists and fight back against coronavirus in the countries that need help most.
“We are experiencing an unprecedented pandemic emergency, especially for our generation, and we felt this is the right time to use our network for good,” the magazine announced on their site.
Among the prints available is a superb selection from Eastern Europe and Central Asia, including a foggy vista taken in a village in Abkhazia by Ksenia Kuleshova (pictured above), a collage by Maria Kapajeva dedicated to the female labourers of Soviet Union’s largest textile mill, a cheerful portrait of a horse breeder in Kazakhstan by Simone Donati, a colourful shot of an empty tram by Reinis Lismanis, and a dream-like image of, perhaps, how we’re all feeling during lockdown by Anna Ehrenstein.
