Polina Kanis (b. 1985, St Petersburg) is a visual artist based in Amsterdam. Primarily working with video, Kanis explores a wide range of subjects in her works, from gender politics and the environment to communication, alienation, and borders of reality. A Rodchenko School graduate, she has since taken part in many residency programmes in Europe and the U.S., and her works have been shown at museums and galleries across the world.
