Galya Fadeyeva (b. 1991) is a visual artist based in Saint Petersburg. Inspired by scientific illustration and alchemical imagery, Fadeyeva creates a fictional universe where the boundaries between science and imagination are blurred. Using automatic drawing and asemic writing in her drawings and installation, she shows how fragments, assembled by chance, can form an elusive narrative structure.
