Igor Lazarev (b. 1986, Krasnoyarsk) is a conceptual artist working with performance and object art. In his work, Lazarev explores the role of culture and art in society, as well as wider existential subjects such one’s place in the world. Previously a member of art group Nevkusno (“Tasteless”), Lazarev collaborated with Alexey Martins from 2010 to 2014, and their work was shortlisted for the Kandinsky Prize in the Young Artist category.
