Katya Isaeva is a Moscow-based interdisciplinary artist and curator hailing from Karaganda. She works with a wide range of media from embroidery to animation and installation, often rearranging readymades to tell new stories. In her practice, Isaeva is interested in creating a personal mythology that goes beyond gallery spaces into social media, and employs all senses of perception, including tactile and audio elements into her works. Her works have been shown at exhibitions and biennials in Russia and beyond.
