Krasil Makar is an alias for a Yekaterinburg-based artist who works with painting, sculpture, and street art. Krasil Makar’s practice engages with the tradition of Ural-Siberian painting, and by using contemporary media such as street art and video, actualises the school that has been lost almost entirely. Krasil Makar’s works have been shown in many museums and galleries across Russia.
