Lada Uchaeva (b. 1992, Saratov) is a visual artist based in Saint Petersburg. In her practice, she uses a wide range of materials from barbed wire and wood to textile, often incorporating embroidery into her works. Uchaeva often turns to folk motifs and explores the use of language in visual artworks. A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, she is currently pursuing an MA there.
