Anti-Accent

Behind the minimal image of the inverted, white cross on the cover of Anti-Accent by Gabriel Orłowski is a body of work that is raw, brazen and energetic — reflecting the music scene of contemporary Warsaw it takes as its subject. The book reveals the pockets of anarchy in Poland’s capital: the pictures were taken at gigs or squats by the Polish photographer and musician between 2010 and 2012, mainly of his friends. Photos are grainy and spontaneous, staying true to the punk aesthetic.

Anti-Accent is available from Dienacht Publishing.
