This Hungarian designers’ den in the heart of the city is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it sort of place. A small doorway on Kossúth Lajos Street opens up into a wide courtyard with elegant staircases and arched colonnades that has become a creative design hub. Paloma houses more than 50 up-and-coming Hungarian designers who share showrooms within the complex. A mix between a concept store, event venue and art gallery, Paloma is no ordinary shopping destination. You can come and meet the designers in person as well as pick up some unique pieces from jewellery to clothes, bags and shoes, among other curiosities. Take some home with you or simply leave with a decent impression of the young Budapest design scene.
