Mazel Tov restaurant

Once an abandoned building in the heart of the old Jewish Quarter, Mazel Tov is a Jewish-themed restaurant and new-wave ruin bar. While the ruin bar movement reuses abandoned spaces by reinventing them and usually sport a gritty, squat-like aesthetic, Mazel Tov uses contemporary design to bring the restaurant up a notch. The food is inspired by Israeli, Moroccan and Middle Eastern cuisine, with an extensive wine list from Hungarian wineries. The place ties in well with the historical context of the neighbourhood, having hosted the Budapest Jewish Festival in the summer, as well as featuring Klezmer performances and other live gigs.
