Flatlab

Flatlab was founded in 2011 by six friends who all worked as freelance designers. “We wanted to get a place together, an office space, workshop and shop — a centre for what we stand for in Budapest design life”, says one of the Flatlab founders, Zsófi Geréby. Flatlab is a real showcase of Budapest’s new design ideas where one can find anything from clothes to handmade backpacks, soap and stationery goods, to porcelain, prints, transfer tattoos and even walking tours of hidden Budapest. The collective behind the space are Emese Kasza, Zsófi Geréby, Gergely Szőke, Eszter Laki, Dániel Nagy and Péter Orbán, and they all share same love for the city and its creative scene.
