Maria Koshenkova (b. 1981, Leningrad) is an artist and sculptor based in Copenhagen. In her practice, she primarily works with glass, as well as with stone, wood, and other organic materials. Koshenkova’s artworks tackle a wide range of subjects from environmental issues to personal experiences of the body, and are often inspired by the countries where she stays.
