Maria Molokova (b. 1993, Izhevsk) is an artist, educator, and composer based in Moscow. She works with a wide range of media, from sound, photography, and video, to performance, installation, and printmaking. In her projects, she uses DIY optical and sound devices, field recordings, and graphics. Molokova’s practice explores unusual sound and body contexts, as well as the concept of time in its historical, political, human, and media aspects.
