Since opening its doors in 2009, the bakery has worked its way up from cupcakes and cookies to jaw-dropping wedding cakes.

Not content to sit on its icing and fondant laurels however, Tortik Annushka is still pushing boundaries with original, delicately-painted offerings inspired by the likes of Kandinsky, Mondrian, Monet and Warhol.

Real art doesn’t come easy, however. The bakery runs its own intensive training programme and even holds masterclasses for amateur (and professional) cooks who think they’ve got what it takes to decorate these 8kg giants.
