The Calvert Journal scoops bronze at the 2018 Lovie Awards

The Calvert Journal has taken home a bronze award at this year’s Lovie Awards for its online travel guide revealing the hidden side of Russia’s World Cup cities.

The Calvert Journal‘s Explore Russia app, which was launched across 11 Russian cities for this year’s football championship, took third place in the Apps, Mobile Sites & Podcasts: Wellness & Lifestyle category.

This summer’s Beyond The Game project was also shortlisted for the Websites: Best Individual Editorial Experience category.

Set up to recognise online excellence, the Lovie Awards honours organisations and individuals from across Europe. Winners were chosen from almost 1,500 entries by the expert members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
