Is it possible to step straight from URL into IRL? A new group show by ::MK-DOS:: collective opening in Berlin tonight questions the effect of our online experiences and interactions on everyday life through a range of sculpture, performance, video and mixed media installations.

As part of the exhibition, Macedonia-born artist Marija Bozinovska Jones will present techSent®, a laser projection controlled by the human voice. Bringing together the human and synthetically generated, Bozinonovska Jones’s looks as the social and emotional impact of technology from AI to data analytics.

Bozinovska Jones’ work appears alongside new works by five London-based artists: performance duo Lea Collet and Marios Stamatis, Simone Monsi, Eva Papamargariti and Andrea Williamson.

::MK-DOS:: draws on the critical and comedic nature of online culture. The collective was founded in September 2015 by Mattia Giussani and Kat Rickard, two curating graduates of London’s Goldsmiths university.

Entitled We’re Having a Great Time, the show opens at 6pm on 28 July at Rockelmann & gallery in Berlin and will continue until 3 September. The opening will include live performances by Lea Collet and Marios Stamatis, and Bozinovska Jones’s avatar MBJ Wetware. You can find more information on the exhibition here.
