Revisit Bulgarian artist Christo’s floating installation

This summer saw tourists in Italy flock to Lake Iseo, a hidden gem usually only known to locals, to walk on the latest installation from Bulgarian artist Christo which comprised bright orange floating piers.

Italian photographer Mara Palena was among the visitors and her series Floating Piers, named after the original, is her souvenir from her day-visit.

If you didn’t get a chance to visit the exhibit which ended 3 July, Palena’s photographs might fill you in on what you would have missed at the most talked about art event of the summer, from the gorgeous views to the public’s selfies and temper tantrums.
