Latvian President shows he’s model material

Latvian President Raimonds Vējonis is no one-trick pony – not only an experienced politician, he has recently turned his hand to modelling.

Mr Vējonis and his wife Iveta graced the pages of the latest edition of glossy Italian fashion magazine Collezione Haute Couture.

It might be worth pointing out that the pages featuring Mr Vējonis are classified as advertising, as opposed to editorial content, with the politician advertising the work of the Anna Osmushkina Fashion House – one of Latvia’s leading fashion designers.

Nevertheless, we’re hopeful to see him on the catwalk soon.
