Photo of the week: follow the yellow brick road in Bulgaria’s capital

Zlatimir Arakliev is a Bulgarian fashion photographer who’s worked with publications like Elle, Vision, Vogue and Harpers’s Bazaar. His Instagram feed is a dizzying array of vivid colours and clashing patterns, yet most of these are images of everyday life in Sofia, rather than glossy fashion editorials or ad campaigns.

This particular image was shot in the centre of Sofia, where the streets and city’s most popular landmark, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, shine like gold.
