London’s Delfina Foundation launches open call for eastern European artists

London’s Delfina Foundation is inviting eastern European artists to apply for a twelve-week residency, in partnership with Gaia Art Foundation.

Open to citizens of eastern European countries who are currently working and living in the region, the residency will take place from 8 January — 30 March 2018.

Delfina Foundation hopes for the residency to allow participants to enhance their skills through mentoring and training, as well as developing their own interests and practice. The programme will involve participation in both internal and public events, as well as field trips, workshop and access to extensive resources for independent study.

In April 2017 Delfina Foundation launched a new thematic programme, Collecting as Practice, and applications relating to this theme are strongly preferred.

The deadline for application is 15 June 2017.
