Create a design for Aeroflot, and see your work fly

30 June 2017

Russian national carrier Aeroflot has launched the “Colour the Aeroflot plane” competition, inviting budding artists to come up with an innovative design (decorative, that is… no messing with the engineering) for an Airbus A321 in honour of the airline’s 95th anniversary.

Participants can find a template and register their entries on the competition’s dedicated website, or through Facebook or Russian social media site VKontakte.

The competition deadline is 10 July, after which point participants with evaluate each others’ creations online. The ten most popular works will go through to a final, where the winning entries will be chosen by a jury of members of Aeroflot’s management board.

The winning design will grace the skies on one of Aereoflot’s fleet, with the winner also taking home a voucher for two business class tickets to any destination on the airline’s network. The runner up will bag a free economy ticket to a destination of their choosing.
