Ivans break world record in Bosnia

Yesterday, a group of Ivans gathered in the town of Kupres in western Bosnia and Herzegovina, hoping to break the world record for the largest gathering of people with the same name.

Despite the initiative’s title — 1,000 Ivans — a total of 2,325 people descended on the gathering, securing a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The number to beat was 1,096, the record previously held by a group of Mohammeds gathered in Dubai on 10 February 2005.
