ISSP International Masterclass, a year-long mentorship programme for emerging photographers is calling for participants to join their 2018 event.

Based in Latvia, the ISSP International Masterclass matches twenty-four applicants with world-renowned photographers. The 2018/2019 programme will ask mentees to choose between working with celebrated photographer and curator Peter Bialobrzeski, or Clare Strand and Gordon MacDonald.

As well as regular online feedback on their long term projects, mentees will have three face-to-face meetings in Sicily and the Latvian town of Kuldīga.

Invited industry experts — including photography editors, critics and curators — will also be on hand to offer their experience and in-depth feedback as part of the programme, which culminates in a exhibition to showcase the work produced during the year.

Applications are due by 10 January 2018, ready for classes to start in March 2018.
