Discover Avtandil: the Georgian designer loved by Lady Gaga

Brimming with bold silhouettes and heavy detailing, Avtandil Tskvitinidze’s catwalk collections have never lacked red carpet clout. But now the Georgian designer can add another pop star to his list of celebrity clients: pop superstar Lady Gaga.

The singer was seen wearing a plunging Avtandil dress at Lionel Richie’s concert in Las Vegas on 18 December.

It’s not the first time that Gaga has been seen sporting a Georgian fashion label. She was also spotted wearing a white, polka-dot dress by Tbilisi-based designed George Keburia earlier in November.

Avtandil, who graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 1995, currently has collections on sale in the US, Germany, France, and the UAE, as well as Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. Lady Gaga isn’t his only celebrity fan: singer Mary J. Blige has also been seen wearing his work.
