A pop-up exhibition showcasing photography from Ukraine’s Maidan revolution is to open in London.

The two-night event, The Revolution of Dignity, marks four years since the culmination of street protests in Kiev and the flight of then-President Viktor Yanukovych.

The exhibition at The Depot in Clapton will feature photos by Dominic Culverwell, Hannah Hrbarska, Irakli Dzneladze, Nick Fedirko and Monqiue Jaques, who captured the changing face of Ukraine before, during and after the uprising.

All profits from the opening on 23 February, which is hosted by photography charity Faces in Focus, will be donated to GoGlobal volunteer hub — a Ukrainian youth charity opening borders through foreign language teaching. Three people who have volunteered with the charity will speak at the event, which will discuss the questions raised by the exhibition and its imagery.

The Revolution of Dignity opening will take place on 23 February at The Depot in Clapton. For more information, or to buy tickets, click here.
