Emerging photographers are being offered the chance to see their work reviewed by leading curators, directors, editors and photographers as part of this year’s Riga Photomonth.

The 2018 portfolio review offers reflective, one-to-one sessions with established photography experts, including Karen McQuaid, Curator at London’s Photographers’ Gallery, Maciej Bujko, Artistic Director of Wroclaw’s TIFF Festival, and Maira Dudareva, Director of the Latvian Museum of Photography, and The Calvert Journal’s own Associate Editor, Liza Premiyak.

The event, which will take place in the Latvian capital on 11 May, seeks to be a platform for those seeking professional feedback on their developed projects, and those needing guidance on conceptual approaches to artistic practice.

An €80 registration fee guarantees at least five one-to-one review sessions of 20 minutes, all of which will take place in English.

For more information, or to register for the event, visit the Riga Photomonth site by clicking here.
