Ustina Yakovleva (b. 1987) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Moscow. She works with painting, drawing, photography, objects, and installation, often exploring the natural world. In her practice, she uses automatic writing process instead of working with sketches, and often chooses labour-intensive techniques. Yakovleva also engages with her heritage through turning to meditative and pagan practices of the Russian North.
