Vlad Kulkov (b. 1986) is a visual artist based in St Petersburg. Best known as a painter, Kulkov also works with graphics, sculpture, and video, for which he writes his own texts. In his practice, Kulkov explores organic life forms and structures through the lens of abstract expressionism. His works can be found in many private and public collections, including MMOMA, the State Russian Museum, Hort Family Collection (New York), and others.
